Even the gnome from "Gnome and Garden" display at the Holden Arboretum attended Mentor's Old Village Market Friday at the James A. Garfield National Historic Site.

Hundreds enjoyed Friday's beautiful weather and a leisurely stroll through Mentor's Old Village Market held on the grounds of the James A. Garfield National Historic Site on Mentor Avenue.

The Village Market featured musical entertainment and more than 50 vendors from Northeast Ohio who were offering fresh farm fruit and vegetables, homemade fudge, sterling silver jewelry, baked goodies, gourmet sauces and olive oils, handmade purses, burger seasonings, mason jar candles and honey products.

If you missed it don't worry. Mentor's Old Village Market will be held again from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 19.
