The Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce held its first ever restaurant showcase Wednesday at Mentor Beach Park.

More than dozen local restaurants and caterers offered samples of some of their signature dishes, including:

Additionally, World of Wines & Liquor provided drinks for the event.

Toward the conclusion of the event, Chamber President Kevin Malecek told the crowd of about 90, "With the restaurants we have here, we have one of the finest dining locations in the country."
