While Adelaide was happy to dress as Dorothy, her sisters Sadie and Josie were slightly less comfortable as the good witch and Cowardly Lion.
Darth Vader (also called Declan Nosse when he's not utilizing the dark side) looks shorter in person.
Sophia gets some stickers outside of the Disney Store while dressed as Foofa. (Apparently, it's someone from Yo Gabba Gabba.)
Tristen (the ninja turtle) and Taken (Batman) wait patiently for the next candy stop.
Mom, Lisa, and dad, Mark, are still smiling but baby Jace looks tired.

A parade of Cookie Monsters, Disney princesses, Scooby Doos, Batmen, Iron Men and Supermen (and Superwomen) circled the interior of Great Lakes Mall Wednesday evening.

More than 2,000 costumed kids and parents gathered for this year's edition of Halloween Madness, in which the store gave candy, stickers and coupons to trick or treaters.

The fun at the mall will continue from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday during the Kidgits Boo & Bash Fun Day. There will be prizes, a balloon artist, candy, crafts and a costume contest. Kids can also watch as an artist makes an abstract painting live in the mall.

From 4 to 6 p.m., kids can see a special magic show.

Kids can still support a worthwhile cause while having some spooky fun. When children ride the All Smiles Aboard trackless train, $1 of their ticket price will go to Cassidy's Hope Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps children with pediatric cancer.

"Great Lakes Mall is the perfect place for families looking for Halloween entertainment in a fun, safe community environment," said Renee Lanzara the mall's director of marketing and business development.

"Whether kids want to show off their new costume or take home some Halloween-themed crafts, there is an activity here for every ghost, witch, princess and werewolf."

This picture is just perfect. Dorothy looks like she's picking her nose, The Cowardly Lion has stripped off her mane AND her sleeves, and Glinda has stepped on her own dress and is trying to get her pants off. It's a microcosm of our daily lives!
