The Recreation Department for the city of Mentor will host its annual children's pet show 10 a.m. Tuesday at Civic Center Park.

Dogs, cats, turtles, ducks and more are all eligible to compete in categories like "longest ears," "best dressed," "best tricks," "largest," "smallest," "most spots" and more.

If you're interested in competing, come to Civic Center Park before the show and register. There is no cost to participate.
