Mentor Woman Accused Of Trafficking Morphine
Brittany Kis was arraigned on the trafficking charge Monday morning in Mentor Municipal Court
A Mentor woman has been accused of selling morphine while in the vicinity of a child.
Brittany Kis, 25, was charged with a second-degree felony of drug trafficking.
The charge stems from an incident that the Lake County Narcotics Agency said occurred on Aug. 12, 2011, according to court documents.
A warrant was issued for Kis's arrest in January 2012. She was brought in and arraigned Monday morning in Mentor Municipal Court.
Judge John Trebets set her bond at $5,000, which was posted.
Her next court hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

They are. And, yes, I realize that's a pretty long stretch between incident and arraignment.
