Mentor Police busted up an underage party while searching for a runaway kid, according to the department's Facebook page.

At about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to America's Best Value Inn while looking for a runaway.

When they arrived at the motel, they discovered a keg party in progress.

Police arrested one girl for marijuana possession and underage alcohol consumption. Three adults, who were under the age of 21, were also cited for underage drinking and marijuana possession, according to police.

A fouth adult was cited under keg law for providing the room.

The adults are scheduled to appear Friday morning in Mentor Municipal Court.
