Mentor High Student Signs Letter of Intent to Play at Wheeling Jesuit

Justin Fritts will play baseball and basketball at Wheeling Jesuit University next year

 

Mentor High senior Justin Fritts signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play baseball and basketball at Wheeling Jesuit University.

Fritts was the player of the game at the Cleveland State University Play By Play Classic last season.

He was also a member of the Arby's All-Tournament team and All Lake Erie League last season, as well as a vital member of the Mentor Cardinals district championship team.

Furthermore, he maintains a 3.7 gpa.

“Justin has been a valuable member of the boys basketball and baseball teams and has and will continue to represent Mentor High School with exceptional skill and sportsmanship on and off the athletic fields,” said Mentor High Athletic Director Jeff Cassella, in a statement on the district's web site.
