Mentor High Boys Don Dresses For Charity
The National Honor Society is encouraging classmates to donate gently used dresses to A Prom To Remember
It might break the dress code but it's for a good cause.
Some of the Mentor High boys in the National Honor Society wore dresses to school Thursday as a way to encourage their classmates to donate gently used formal dresses to A Prom To Remember.
A Prom To Remember is a dance especially for teens who have been affected by cancer. It is spearheaded by Jane and Michael Knausz of Mentor.
Several local businesses and individuals also help by donating clothes, jewelry, limousine transportation and more.
Students will still be collecting dresses at Mentor High School today and any students who donate will get a $20 credit to Expressions Bridal and Formal.
For more information on the drive, visit the Mentor Schools web site.
