Man Accused Of Selling Heroin In Mentor
Mentor Police arrested Justin Jelks Tuesday evening
An East Cleveland man is accused of selling heroin in Mentor.
Mentor Police said they spotted 23-year-old Justin Jelks selling 1.6 grams of heroin Tuesday night in a parking lot on Route 306 near the Route 2 interstate, Mentor Police Lt. Tom Powers said.
Police arrested Jelks and charged him with counts of heroin trafficking and possession of criminal tools.
The "criminal tools" in this case refer Jelks' cell phone and car, a Mercury Mariner, according to court documents.
Police confiscated Jelks' phone, car and about $1,000 in cash.
He was arraigned Wednesday morning in Mentor Municipal Court. Judge John Trebets set his bond at $40,000, which was not posted.
Jelks' next court hearing is scheduled for Nov. 1.

Dido!! Anyone who touches that stuff is a scum bag, let alone distributing it. Glad to see the cops are busting the real criminals and not just lazy pot smoking teenagers.
