The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. Sept. 15. Lottery results will be posted online and at the Lake Metroparks Administrative Offices the next day.

Selected hunting areas will be clearly marked, assigned and patrolled by park rangers and wildlife officials.

Hunters whose names are drawn will be required to pass a proficiency test and meet additional requirements prior to receiving a permit. Each permit assigns a hunter a specific stand and minimum two-week period during which he or she may participate during Ohio archery deer season.

Hunters will also be expected to follow hunting guidelines established by the Ohio Division of Wildlife and Lake Metroparks.
