Lake Catholic's football team is competing this week and it needs its 12th man (or woman) to win.

I'm not just talking about its game against Benedictine this weekend, either.

The Cougars' game against the undefeated Bearcats has been nominated as a candidate for Cleveland Browns' Game of the Week. However, to be selected, the school needs your votes.

The fan poll can be found on the Browns' website. Vote now because the poll closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

If Lake Catholic v. Benedictine wins, the Cleveland Browns organization will cover the game and post highlights on its website.

Also, the winning coach and an MVP will be honored during a Browns home game.

Finally, the winning team will receive $1,000 for its football program.

The Cougars will travel to Benedictine to square off this Friday.
