Gallery One Voted Best Art Gallery In Greater Cleveland Area

Gallery One topped Fox 8's Hot List

More than 100,000 people voted to compile Fox 8's annual Hot List; and, when the votes were tallied, Gallery One was chosen as the most popular art gallery in Northeast Ohio.

“We are more than delighted to hold this honor,” said Alan Brown, Gallery One's president and founder, in a statement. “The award really belongs to our professional staff and to the scores of outstanding artists that we are privileged to represent.”

Gallery One, which is housed at 7003 Center Street, was founded in 1974 by Brown and his wife, Norah Lynne.

Major artists such as Robert Bateman, Carl Brenders, James Christensen, Anthony Cook, Jim Daly, Bev Doolittle, Thomas Kinkade, Dean Morrissey, William Phillips and John Weiss among others frequently appear at Gallery One to meet collectors and lecture informally at events.

Free emailed newsletters can be subscribed to online at www.galleryone.com. They contain information on art collecting, show schedules and Felicia Zavarella’s free monthly art lectures which the gallery hosts.

The Gallery One staff is preparing for Masterworks in Miniature, an annual event now in its 21st year. The event, which opens March 9, features more than 100 original works of art, created by today’s most respected painters.

All Gallery One events, with the exception of artists workshops, are free and open to the public.
