1. EASTER EGG ROLL
Where/When: James A. Garfield National Historic Site, 1 to 3 p.m. Monday
Why Go: The annual Easter Monday Egg Roll replicates the same day’s event hosted at the White House.
The event will feature various games, crafts, activities, and contests on the lawn of President James A. Garfield’s Mentor home; first-floor tours of the Garfield house; and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.

2. BATTLE OF SHILOH
Where/When: Mentor Public Library Main Branch, noon Wednesday
Why Go: Speaking of Garfield National Historic Site, they continue their partnership with the Mentor Public Library to bring us their latest lunchtime talk highlighting Civil War battles.
The subject of their next talk will be the bloody battle of Shiloh, fought in April 1862 in southwestern Tennessee. This was another Union victory won under the leadership of Maj. Gen. Ulysses S. Grant.
Pricing: The event is free but they do ask that you register beforehand.
3. GLORY WAY QUARTET
Where/When: Parker Place Retirement, 2:30 p.m. Sunday
Why Go: Here the musical stylings of praise band Glory Way Quartet this Easter at Parker Place.

4. FISH FRIES
Where/When: Too many places to list... though the favorites seem to be at St. Mary of the Assumption and St. John Vianney Catholic Churchy
Why Go: With Easter coming up, this will be your last chance to enjoy a Lenten fish fry until next year.
