All Saints of St. John Vianney School Welcomes New Principal
The school also bids farewell to Rose Wilson, who served as a teacher and then principal for 33 years
All Saints of St. John Vianney School has a new principal.
Earlier this summer, Michael Fasciano was named to lead the 35-year-old elementary school, which is in Wickliffe.
He succeeds the school’s former principal, Rose Wilson, who retired at the end of the last school year. Wilson served the school for 33 years; first as a teacher, and then as principal.
Prior to joining All Saints, Fasciano served as principal of Saint Leo the Great School in Cleveland for 17 years. He was a junior high math teacher at the school for ten years before becoming principal.
Fasciano’s past honors include being named Principal of the Year for the Western Region of the Cleveland Diocese. He is a recipient of the Alumni Educator Award for exemplary service in the field of education. He is married with two sons, ages 14 and 17.
All Saints is the parish school for St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, in Mentor.
Classes for the 2012-2013 school year began Monday.
