Rona greets one of her neighbors, Natalie.

Rona is a 2-year-old cat who has been living at Lake Humane Society since April but she would like to find a forever home for the holidays.

Rona came to the shelter as a stray. She is a sweetie but would probably be best matched in a house with no kids or other pets.

Like all the cats at Lake Humane Society, Rona is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

It would only cost $20 to adopt Rona. In fact, through the month of December, people can adopt cats of any age at the shelter for $20. (They are regularly $50 to $115.) Similarly, dogs can be adopted for just $50 (when they are usually $70 to $130.)
