Jade is a very affectionate and loving cat who sadly lost her home when her owner into a nursing home.

Consequently, she has been staying at the Lake Humane Society since January and is looking for a new forever home.

She is three years old and very sociable so she wouldn't mind sharing a home with other cats. However, she does not get along as well with young children.

Like all Lake Humane Society cats, Jade is fixed, microchipped and up to date on her shots.

A good owner can adopt her for $80 -- unless, of course, they adopt her on Thursday when all cats and kittens are only $30.
