New Realities Energy Seminar

Mentor businesses are invited to join international energy experts, Peter Garforth and Bruce Bremer for an enlightening discussion on energy as a strategic economic development advantage.

This talk is intended to move us past energy myths and toward data-driven actions to maximize energy productivity.

Lakeland will serve as the model for the discussion with examples from the college's drastic energy overhaul to be highlighted.

About the speakers:

Peter Garforth

Peter Garforth and is the principal for Garforth International, LLC, based in Toledo, Ohio, and Brussels, Belgium. His extensive knowledge of the global energy environment has positioned him to advise major companies throughout the world.  From cities and communities, to property developers and policy makers, he develops competitive approaches for them that reduce the economic and environmental impact of energy use.

He recently led the consulting teams that developed the Community Energy Plans in both the USA and Canada. Garforth is the former vice president of strategy and business development for Owens Corning.

Bruce Bremer

Bruce Bremer is the president of Bremer Energy Consulting Services, Inc., a unique consultant company that provides tailored solutions for clients. These solutions are based on years of field experience, multi-discipline skills and global knowledge. These attributes will improve not only the customer’s energy initiatives but also productivity and cost.
 

Bremer is the former manager of facilities engineering for Toyota North America.
