Cardinal Community Credit Union Gives Back During Second Annual Mulch Day
Cardinal Community Credit Union regards the smallest signs of gratitude with the utmost importance. To show their appreciation for dedicated membership, they once again joined with the Lake Catholic High School Boys Basketball team to spread mulch for a long-standing member.
This second annual Mulch Day, which took place on Saturday, June 23, allowed Cardinal to say “Thank You” to Margaret, who has been a member of the credit union for decades.
After finishing the landscaping of Margaret’s home, the volunteers decided to spread mulch in a neighboring yard with the leftover materials. Glinda was a bit surprised when twenty volunteers from Cardinal and Lake Catholic knocked on her door and offered their services, but she was grateful nonetheless for the assistance.
“We encourage all of our players to join in our community by participating and volunteering to share their time,” said Ron Bate, the president of the boosters for the basketball team. “The players did a great job and worked well with the Cardinal volunteers.”
Cardinal Community Credit Union also continues to be dedicated to service and outreach. As an organization of the community, they strive to encourage growth and development in all aspects of their daily commitments. Whether through sponsorships or volunteer work, they hope to show their enthusiasm for supporting wonderful causes that improve and strengthen the community within and around Cardinal.
